Sounds like you're enjoying it - if you've just gone for the trial, you can also consider trying out tunes from other companies to see which you prefer more.

Nah got the full deal, was thinking about trying others but after reading the pains people were going thru, didn't phase me much..
Love the security lockout feature, didn't quite understand how it worked until today, doesn't show up until you enter your pin number in
(combination of 4 digits using the set button and on off switch)
With 2.5 yrs warranty, thats a handy feature
Hey I think that person was probably me? LOL...yup and vwthunders car shifts heaven and earth like no tomorrow.
That Polo def has more than just a tune, prob K04 and a few other little things.
I do agree, from what i have read the GIAC is more aggressive, but blowing away an APR Golf with just a tune, not to sure there.
One thing i have noticed is the cars a bit more fuel economical now due to the low down torque, averaging about 7.9 - 8.1 on my daily commute, use to average about 8.4 doing the exact same trip with stock map.
My right foots been fairly heavy since friday and im still averaging about 8.5 - 9 amazingly
If you want to hide the fact youre cars chipped couldn't you buy a second ecu and have the APR map on that one and when you take the car for servicing/warranty claims switch back in the original ecu with the stock vw tune? or is this too expensinve
