    Heard of lots of failures with these too, not sure exactly what though. Warranty is a bit of a tricky one too - most end up spending twice the amount getting it fixed or a replacement. Heard that the Neuspeed s'charger is more reliable though. Again, my knowledge in this is totally from reading other forums.

    Would a cross flow head bolt onto our blocks without to many hassles? Starting to think when Im off my p's my golf could do with a supercharger...

    Yes they do. I think new beetles have cross flow heads, so if you ever see one in nick a part, just stick it in your pocket

    For those kits and the amount of money involved would it not be cheaper to buy a 1.8T motor and drop that in?

    The toyota SC14's go for around $400 (roughly?) but dont forget other costs too.

    Yes it would be cheaper to do a 1.8T swap, and I know someone (ie me) with one for sale
