Have you taken out the threaded plastic bits? I think its a 12mm hex socket to remove them and then there is a thread.

Might want to swap the Kjet inserts for digifant ones. Not much to buy from VW. When I did the opposite. Fitted a Kjet head to a digifant motor.

sorry guys i have confused the issue, i have fitted new bungs and had a set of bosch porsche fitment injectors but the lower section is larger
what i am looking to find out is how do you know the size of the injector to suit the 16v bunges and all vw bungs for that matter
Just clarify what injectors you are using, are they electronic or mechanical?
Post a picture of your injectors as well for us to look at. I am wondering if they are not the same dimensions as a digifant one.

The G60 ones would do the job, I'd think

This site gives you Bosch numbers and flow rates for particular injectors that maybe usefull to you http://home.hetnet.nl/~sfctuning/techinfo.htm#injector
On my 16v I used the plastic injector seats I think they are off a G60 and most injectors seem to fit inside them. They just screw into your 16v manifold. The only thing I have found is that with the 16v port design some of the injectors designed for 8v's have the wrong spray pattern. One set I used was wetting the walls pretty bad and it gave me crap throttle response. You could see what injectors the 20vt's use, they would probably have a similar spray pattern.
