Hi,
Has anyone use something like this before?
Audi - A3 - 2.0T FSI - Engine - KMD Tuning - 2.0T FSI High Pressure Fuel Pump Kit - KMD Tuning
It seem alot cheaper than the APR one and my good guess is that is what APR does to your fuel pump anyway.
But think you pay alot more for labour and the name.
If so I have a few question that needs answering.
1. It is hard to DIY it yourself? for example take the original out and dismantle it and put in these new parts and put it back in?
2. Will the car be drivable so i can get it into a workshop to get it tuned after fitting this in?
Thank you

mate be carefull when working on high pressure fuel systems fitted to vag engines fuel pressure can be upto 140 + bar in pressure not psi bar and that can harm humans big time .

I considered doing internals but decided I'd prefer the APR pump so if anything happens I have a spare that can be put back in. KMD had some quality issues a while ago so you may want to do some checking.

I've moved your post to the tuning forum, where your question has already been answered several times.
The other disadvantage of doing this yourself is the tolerances are so fine that even a fingerprint will cause it to fail. With something this sensitive, I'm happy to buy it already made from someone else, and therefore have a warranty where they can't just turn around and say "you're holding it wrong"
