Forge Twintercooler or Wagner Competition intercooler for Mk6 gti

Doing a full stage 2 upgrade to my mk6 gti in manual and just wondering if there will be any turbo lag due to the Wagner intercooler being a full replacement and a much bigger intercooler as opposed to the Forge witch goes in front and uses both that and the current intercooler.. I can get both at the same price.. What would the pros and cons for both be...

    Appreciate the advice guys.

I'm running the Wagner Tuning intercooler on my mk6 gti and didn't notice any turbo lag, I felt the opposite, boost onset came on a little earlier; mind you, at that time I was APR stage 2 with a 3" TBE. I then added the Neuspeed charge & turbo outlet pipes which netted more response.. I did all this with a view to running a K04 as my next upgrade which I have since done. I'm very happy with my Wagner cooler.

The Wagner looks like a nice unit. I would avoid the Forge personally - i just dont like that "twin" intercooler idea.....unnecessary and its said to make the car more laggy.

If you want a proper front mount, have a look at the NeuSpeed intercooler.

A bit off topic but where are you sourcing the Wagner from if you don't mind me asking?

    Cheers

Much appreciated guys. The guys that are doing the car for me are sourcing everything, just giving me options so I am not entirely sure I just know that the USD is screwed compared to the Euro I think. I will see if I can find out and get back to you..

Wagner Tuning UK hooked me up for my Audi A1 FMIC - I'm not sure if it's just 1 bloke, or I just happened to deal with the 1 bloke, but 'Mark' was very responsive to my pre-purchase queries. Shipped it to me directly, no hassles whatsoever. The exchange rate to GBP was way better than the US$.

He also did me a 'favour' in regard to customs. If you can't figure out what that would have been, PM me. I won't post it.
