Eurojet 3" Downpipe installed :)

I thought I'd put up some photos I caught with my phone camera, for some reason I could not get a good photo of the installed downpipe but it looks exactly the same as the OP's initial photo post up.

How much was the shipping from ecs? Are the quotes they give on their site accurate? And also did you have to pay any kind of customs or taxes once it arrived in aus?

One of the only few shops that actually opens on a Saturday close to where I live, so I gave them a shot. Performance wise, I can now hear the turbo spooling a little more and initially I thought something was wrong because acceleration of the car felt so smooth and light, I thought there was a loss of power, but then once it goes over 3,000rpm and the turbo kicks in, it's insane.

Noise, really the car sounds almost like stock, so I'm very happy with it.

I really don't understand. I've got TurboXS DP installed with the stock exhaust and the car doesn't sound like stock at all. It's quite loud at idle. In 1st and 2nd gear, there are some new noise. Certainly not leak. Just not the way I want it to be.

There can be differences due to the material the downpipes are made from. The Eurojet pipes are quick thick walled so dont tend to drone like some do.

I installed a new Eurojet dump pipe to my friends Mk5 GTI last week. It was purchased from Tim @ Dubaddiction. Took just over 2 hours to install which I was pretty pleased with considering it was on stands in my driveway and I was working alone.

The quality of the Eurojet looks great, and the 3 piece construction makes it easier to manage than the stock system.

It sounds great when you put the boot in. Louder exhaust note and cracking DSG farts. The car also has an AWE tuning intake and DNA Tuning stage 2 tune. When driving normally / cruising there is no real difference in noise (good thing).
