I got the Revo Flash done to my 07 TDI sportline last friday and So far Im pretty happy with it. it's got a lot more power low down in the rev's now, 2nd-4th gear is where it is the best with performance. I still really haven't done that much driving with it
It's still a bit heavy on fuel consumption though im hoping that it will get better and im hoping it stops blowing more smoke then normal esp under heavy accerlation.
it's got 138kw and 400nm of torque all for the price of 1199 + gst

    It is not worth it.
Your engine or any drive train component warranty might be affected.
EDC ( Engine diesel controler ) stores informations about any modifications if you know anybody with Vag-Com just connect it and you will see on the screen something like this: No. of programming attempts and workshop no. of the shop or dealer.

Should you have any warranty issues VW dealer connect their VAS and in the minute they know that you reprogram original software. Not even talking about that VW DSG is good only for up to 350Nm torque (or verry close to that number).

whats wrong with blowing smoke? its fun to see the cars engulfed in your cloud of smoke from the lights hehe... or rather see the cloud of smoke that you know a car is in. anyway these chips make your car burn fuel faster so the smoke comes out at a higher rate. probably wont go down, its just one of those characteristics of diesel. if you wanna see some smoke blowing, have a look at the american pick-up diesels doing 1/4 miles...

Hey there Trunch, have you put your tdi across the dtno yet? Im interested to see the results. I had mine done by DNA motorsport in the UK. Figures quoted are 125kw/400Nm. Dyno results are 120kw/334Nm atw

MTM do a very good upgrade for these ECU and it inly takes about half an hour to flash the ecu so it doesnt even need to be removed from the car all done by computer and its not to pricey either. Give the guys at TCCA a ring

    Hi tdiKD,
Just google it. Most TDI 2L will be able to recite 103KW/140PS & 320nm anyway! :p

FYI, the figure will be at the end of most road tests you find via a websearch. Basically as follows, for the Pumpe Diesel (PD) 2.0 TDI:
DIN-rated motive power & torque outputs, ID codes
    103 kilowatts (140 PS; 138 bhp)
    320nm torque.

    Wikipedia link
    2.0 R4 16v TDI PD 103-125kW

This Pumpe Düse (PD) TDI engine was introduced to replace the older higher-powered versions of the 1.9 TDI. It is the first four-cylinder 16-valve double overhead camshaft (DOHC) Turbocharged Direct Injection (TDI) engine made by Volkswagen Group.

    identification
    parts code prefix: 038
    engine configuration & engine displacement
inline four cylinder (R4/I4) Turbocharged Direct Injection (TDI) turbodiesel; 1,968 cubic centimetres (120.1 cu in); bore x stroke: 81.0 by 95.5 millimetres (3.19 in × 3.76 in), stroke ratio: 0.85:1 - undersquare/long-stroke, 492.1 cc per cylinder; compression ratio: 18.5:1
Sammy here on the forum is probably a good person to ask about the Diesel Performance chip (IIRC). Bluefin's most popular from what I've seen.
Everyone has an opinion and it's probably a case of finding out which best suits your needs.

If your car is under warranty or extended warranty (like mine is), then it's probably worth reading about peoples' experience with warranty hassles at their dealer, if the tune is detected, as it would likely be (if not resettable).

if anyones interested GIAC also do tdi flashes

I'd always go for a flash over the interceptor as you are limited as to what you can modify. You can't usually modify boost for example nor can you modify the smoke limiting or torque limiting tables within. I guess it depends on what your budget is and yes the interceptors do have their place and do give a good gain but if the dollar figure is similar to say a superchips/bluefin option I know what I'd choose. well actually I'd chose us but your in Vic so........
