eec homo makes it street legal in europe whereas non eec is for racecars.
hi all,
i was just on the supersprint website and was wondering what the difference was between the eec homologation rear exhaust and the non eec homologation rear exhaust.
is it simply a matter of res vs non res or a matter of legality.
explanations would be greatly appreciated since googling doesn't reveal much.
edit: whoops, heres the link:

Sorry - just seen this. As you say this is the case although basically it's one that is legal/legit, the other than it less than legal but still fine to use. Depends on your approach and opinion and what you want to risk, but one would always pass an inspection, the other 'may or may not....
2010 R36 (MY10.5), Biscay Blue, RNS510, MDI, Electric tailgate, sunroof, Superchips remap - SOLD
2016 Octavia VRS wagon, moon white, Tech Pack, 18" black pack, electric boot, panoramic sunroof, Bluefin
i doubt the racing one would pass inspection. i heard it on an m3 on youtube and it was defs over the 90db legal requirement. sounded like an f1!
