    Downpipes

    Hi all

I have a Skoda RS but figured I'd post in here as it is the same engine and I imagine more people would see this.

I have the JB1 tuning box on my car which is great. I'm interested in a downpipe. I know most people go stage 2 tune with the downpipe avoiding any CEL problems but I want to keep my tuning box, not go down the tuning path.

So I'm looking at options for downpipes without the CEL. From some reading I figure I either go a downpipe that is CEL free guaranteed or I get some random downpipe, add a 42DD spacer and hope for the best??

Any personal reviews on here of people in the same situation as me?
    Thanks..

I'm assuming it's a Mk3 RS? What sort of power/torque does the Stage 2 get you. Is this within the DSG specs?

    Hi mate.

Yes 2016 MK3 RS TSI. Not sure on specific numbers. Mines a 6sp manual anyway.

For mk7 gti/r the two CEL free DP options are the neuspeed dp and awe tuning DP. Both have a high end 200 cell cat located near the stock location and guarantee CEL free. I have JB1 on my GTI and looking at getting the neuspeed.

Where are you looking to get it from? I thought they were both designed for American market and wouldn't fit ours?

Any 90 degree spacer for the post cat sensor should avoid the CEL. I can't comment on how touchy the JB1 is though.
