I'm all for healthy discussion but putting up irrelevant figures without the facts is nothing more than **** stirring.

    Ah ok
When I proposed the same question a while back in regards to a GIAC powered S3, Guy harding said that awd or fwd makes very little difference to the dyno readouts in their testing. So they cant have it both ways.
Even if the figures are not directly comparable. The power curve is. the GIAC powered car seems to come on much harder which would translate to a much faster feeling car.

I reckon you boys should get together and toss the keys amongst yourselves so you can actually feel the difference between each tune. At the end of the day figures on a plot dont really tell the full story all the time.

Anyways I think its time to give credit where credit is due. GIAC were criticized for not having the mid range power on DSG equipped cars that some of the other tuners had. They have done their homework and come back to the table with an improved tune that will no doubt impress.

Dean, Eurospeed and GIAC have put a lot of time and effort into this one. So congrats to them.

Totally agree Tim...great figures there by the GIAC and very similar in terms of the power curve except for down low where as you mentioned its stronger.

Its a real credit to the tuners involved.

Im all for swapping keys around
As long as its not in a bowl at someones house....lol.

Interesting info, in anycase its been clarified.

Yeah its good to see there are various tuners working to improve their products. Does GIAC have a product for the Golf R to do a direct comparison?
