    Spareto were pretty quick.

Order placed Thu 29th Aug, 11:00am - received confirmation email within minutes
Shipping confirmation & DHL Tracking rec'd Fri 8:31pm
Left Lithuania DHL @ 9:03pm Fri, then Copenhagen, then Heathrow and left there Mon 4:48am
    Scheduled delivery Wed 4th September
Item cost was Euro 45 ea, and Delivery Euro 53.

If the price difference was less than $50, I probably would have gone with Run Auto, so pretty happy so far.

DHL are so damn fast. Always amazes me how quickly they move packages around the world.

OK. About to start the rear brake fix and hub swap, but once Carista is connected, there is no option to do the EPB Service ????

I’ve followed the Carista how to instructions on the web, but don’t even have the option listed in. The service tab !

So how do I do it ?

Well, all work was done and bits replaced.

End result, no difference. Fault codes cleared and all came back, so think there is something else is up and beyond my skill set, so next option is to take it somewhere to diagnose with expertise.

Solitaire Auto is the Cupra Dealer in Adelaide, but happy to hear of any other workshops that may offer good/proven diagnostic capability.

    Let me know any suggestions.

    Thanks

Well I bought stuff from skoda-parts.com and even with $104 DHL, parts cost under half what they would have been here and took 6 days to get here. Parts from Melbourne can take 2 weeks

Time for an update : After not getting anywhere myself and not having the knowledge, took it to a workshop and they confirmed that it is the ABS Sensor that's at fault.
Whilst the replacement one I got is the same style and looks pretty much the same, it is different length and body dimensions (even though it fits) .
So ordered a couple from different suppliers to solve the problem once and for all.

    Fingers crossed !

Oh yeah that will definietely be the problem if the ABS sensors you fitted were not the identical to the original ones. The length is critical because it sits a very short distance from the hub to pickup the wheel speed signal. If the replacement sensor is shorter (assuming it is shorter because if it was longer it would probably physically touch the hub) then it wont pickup the signal from the hub.

Anyway, good to hear you have found the issue.

As for your rims in the other thread, the Koya rims come in various copper colours which are similar to the Cupra copper colour. So you get a much better quality rim than the Simmons (Simmons used to be good quality 25 years ago, but not anymore) and in the correct colour for about $500 per rim. Koya Wheels Volkswagen Golf

Gotta admit I was surprised by the cost of the Simmons as they7 used to be way more expensive.

Not sure, may just sit and wait and see what happens. May be going OS next year for a riding holiday in Andorra/Italy ...
