Hi guys,

I have just purchased my 04 Golf Generation. The car is immaculate but I have noticed a bit of a noise.

When the engine is cold, first thing in the morning type cold, the engine makes this metallic/harsh sound when it turns over.

As this is my first VW and GOlf, im not sure how normal this is. Is this normal? Is there something I can do to prevent it?

Any advise/tips, would be much appreciated
