the 42DD stuff looks really nice. I wonder if mk6 golf R dump fits a scirocco R? or if not, I hope they are going to make one. they have some really nice stuff at reasonable prices.

The Golf R specific dump pipe probably will fit the Scirocco R, but the Mk5 / Mk6 GTi ones will definetly fit. Speak to Greg at Carformance if your interested and he will sort you out.

Make sure to get the resonated version if you go with the 42DD pipe, because the dump pipes sound like rubbish without one.

I don't like these due to the overly large radius of the bend on these which causes clearance issues with the shift cables. Seen it twice now. very heavy too but to be fair its a good price and it seems to work well

Yes the angle/radius of the bend is larger than my previous Scorpion DP, and the alignment of the pipes is also different too, but it sounds heaps better (due to the resonator) than the Scorpion DP i had.

The 42DD dump pipe on my car does rest on the shifter cables (manual gearbox) but hasn't caused any issues and it still shifts fine etc. At first i was a bit worried about the shifter cables, but it hasn't been a problem so far.

My TBE rests on the shifter cables as well, but with a proper heat wrap on the cables, they don't burn and shifting is exactly as it felt with the stock DP. I went without ceramic coating. I like the purple colour of the stainless when it heats up
