Doing a bit of a search on previous BMC posts and found this awesome set up Forge Intake + Short Shift Review - VW GTI Forum / VW Rabbit Forum / VW R32 Forum / VW Golf Forum - Golfmkv.com
It's an aussie guy that's done it on an S3. Don't think he's on this forum? Anyway I've got a BMC CDA but it's connected to the stock engine cover intake (sans panel filter of course) and I don't know whether air flow through the engine cover is all the efficient
According to the thread the guy used a forge intake pipe and stuck the BMC on the end. Not sure how easy it would be to come by a forge pipe on it's own though? Any other suggestions? The trouble I can see is two-fold: finding a pipe with the MAF connection etc already in and finding one the finishes reasonably short (so the inlet of the BMC can fit up flush against the outside air port used by the OEM intake).
No biggie, but would love to know people's thoughts. Might give it a crack if something good gets suggested...
