    Best Tuner in Victoria

I am planning to do a Stage 2 upgrade on my Scirocco R, which tuner is the best? I know APR, GIAC, REVO, DNA TUNING and BLUEFIN are good. I am thinking of going to APR but I'm not completely sure

Mate, are you looking for an all inclusive 'package deal' or are you flexible with when and how you want to modify your R? I've just gone with Spectune after having had APR and DNA (DNA was put on my current car after previous owner swapped to DNA from Bluefin).

Seriously, if you don't want to be locked in to what modifications you have to buy and from where, go with Spectune. It's a simple, hand-held device and the FREE updates are easy to install once you make modifications to your car. With Spectune, it allows you to select what modifications you currently have and then you can download the tune from the internet. Later on once you have updated your modifications, simply visit the website and update your tune. PM Tarmac here or visit Home or go here: Introducing SpecTune - Your Performance, Your Way for more information.

Then you can decide what modifications to do, which manufacturer you wish to buy from and when you want to update all at your own pace and price.

    Goodluck with it!

With REVO, the timing, the amount of boost and fuel is done depending on your use. So its also similar to Spectune i guess. But i prefer the professionals doing it for me, as i don't have any experience with self tuning.

It's just some button pressing mate, if you can use a mobile phone you can do the flash yourself with a handheld box.

Only Viezu do free updates like Spectune so if you plan to do more to your in the future, this could be the way to go. If you have all the hardware fitted and won't be doing anything else. There's all the other options you mentioned available to you.

Hi Ryan, wondering if you got a tune done and who by and if your happy with it? If your still wanting to get a tune done get in touch. We do custom dyno tuning and don't use chips or generic tune files.

Sorry Ryan but we aren't down that way.... just yet so you will have to look elsewhere It does mean you will have to do without Antilag and user adjustable launch control but being realistic its probably not that useable on the rocco anyway
