Oh, a bunch of stuff over the years, Bridgestone, Yokohama A-008R, Toyo R888, I've owned a lot of cars.
We've currently got R888's on a daily driven MK1 with no issues. MK1's are quite light and don't wear tyres very quickly, there's at least another year, maybe 2, left in them.
They don't get up to temp on the road so heat cycling won't age them. Even cold and wet they easily outperform the BFG g-Force sports that were on there previously.
