    Question Ashley exhaust manifolds?

Has anyone had any experience using Ashley manifolds?
I did a quick search of the forum but only found mentioning of the brand and no solid opinions through experience..
    Is anyone able to comment?
They would be going on a Mk1 too if that's any help..

They aren't Supersprint but they work OK. I have used a 16V conversion one in a MK1 GTI years ago. No problems with that except they didn't ship a seal for the flex joint. I got one from a local exhaust place for pennies.

Yeah i'm not really after a super improvement or gain. I just have been noticing that it still sounds like my exhaust has a slight leak even though I had the whole system (minus manifold) replaced not even a week ago. More just looking for a way to fix a problem that might give a slight improvement over stock, plus the price seems okay $480AUD inc. shipping. I figure getting an exhaust shop to make one up would involve big money? Which i'd prefer to put towards the new motor..
More than anything I was worried about fitment and the quality of the welds, then again, weld quality might not be as important on a daily as it is on a car that gets ragged on every day..
