A quick poke and recode and I'm very pleased to report that pressing the ASR button does what it always has, but holding the button now brings up a "ESC Off" message on the screen

I can't really test things properly until I get out on a track with a bit of space to properly get into it, but a quick roundabout test seems that with ESC off things work how they are supposed to with no loss of power

    Awesome information - good work!

question - does the cruise control switch need to remain in the "on" position, once the desired program/mode has been chosen?
i.e., once set, can i turn the switch back to off, but still have the selected program/mode continue to b active?

Indeed - once you've locked in the program mode you can turn cruise control off

Have you played with valet mode?
It feels really wierd, would confuse people for sure...
Will not rev over 4500, will not go over ~110kmph
AND - if you use full throttle the gear box goes to neutral and the ECU idles the engine ignoring the throttle peddle

Once you have selected the program you wish, it stays there - the cruise can be in any position & functions as normally. We recommend using the "Security Lockout" feature to prevent switching inadvertently.
