Sort of like the Skoda Targa Tasmania car.

I'd chuck in a couple of bucks ... The Skoda was two bikes though - light as they are, weight might start to become an issue if you go down that path - almost better off going with the VW luggage look

Remove the spare and run with 1/4 of a tank of fuel and you'll be back to even or close enough.

Good points! This is closer to becoming a reality than I ever dared dream

    Gday Adzy...
Nice drag run there mate. Very good to see those V8's being spanked!

So just wanted to get this straight. I am currently Running APR Stage 1 on my Mk 5 TR GTi. I am assuming that all that Stage 2 requires is the following:

    APR Downpipe?

With the install of the APR Downpipe comes the extra stage 2 tune right??

I am not satisfied with the Carbonio Intake, funnily enough i still bought it anyway but after much research have decided not to fit the Carbonio and go with a Forge TwinTake.

    Cheers mate.

Yes, once you have the front downpipe fitted the stage 2 tune can be loaded into the ECU. It is strongly advised to have the intake sorted out as well.
The Forge is better than the Carbonio for sure I just wanted the factory look for my VW dealership since I am still under warranty. Check out the DBilas intake for the GTI as well
