APR stage 2 intake for Mk6 Golf

Hey guys,

Does anyone happen to know if the apr stage 2 (and stage 1) intake will fit a mk6 R ?

I have a feeling they were for the mk7 only however more than happy to be wrong.

APR sells the Carbonio CAI for the Mk6 Golf R:

Short answer - no. The "stage 1" part can be made to fit it you want to fiddle with it, but the "stage 2" bit is not designed for the Golf R engine (its for the MK6 GTI engine which is a completely different engine altogether).

Basically all of the intakes for the MK6 Golf R are regurgitated intakes from the Mk5 GTI - as they run essentially the same setup.

Certainly not for me - I don't understand the attraction with that intake. I prefer something that looks good and is a bit different to everyone else.
