    APR Stage 1 pricing

Guys just noticed that apr has raised their prices for stage 1 tunes (now $1495 instead of $1350).

Has anyone been successful in negotiating a cheaper price outside of the normal 15% off sales? I'm looking at getting a tune ASAP, and the next sale probably won't be until June/July.

You won't be able to negotiate a better price outside of the sale a period. APR Is very very strict on that. They won't even let you book it in/pay during the sale period and raincheck for a later date to have it tuned.

The $1495 I believe is for all the programs. I guess you could try asking for a discounted single 98 program, but the chances are if they don't advertise it they won't allow it. I think they only do a single program option if your ECU only allows for one program.

You won't regret getting it tuned

Interesting. I was pretty sure the R could only have one EDIT: Golf/Rocco R can have multiple programs.

You weren't wrong (re discounts, not possible)

And very right (re not being disappointed!)

Stage 1+ turns this car into what it should have been from factory. Although being able to compare directly to a stage 2+ it still feels slow... Now I'll just wait for apr hardware discounts

Keep your eyes out and you may see an Easter promo as well as an end of FY.

Often hardware is only 10% off whereas software is 15%. But that's just based on recent history.

Yep just hangout for the discounts. The Golf R can have multiple programs, not sure about the Scirocco.

I have the stage 1 single 98 octane program on my stronic Audi TTS.. 322bhp. It cuts a full second off with launch control.. very thrilling doing low 4 sec launches.
