APR full flash less powerful than trial?

Had my car flashed a few weeks back after running the 6 hour trial...

However, the car feels somewhat less aggressive and powerful on the full tune compared to the trial tune .... has anyone else noticed this? Or is it just my own imagination??

Try turning it off and back on. Makes a difference, love to know why.
Instructions on the APR sus site if you have not done it before.

    To noone:
Really? How often should I switch it back and forth again?

    To Leb_One:
I don't think it is because I got used to the power, because after I took the car in for the full flash (while the 6 hour trial was still activated on my car), I noticed the drop in power and aggressiveness straight away....

I have the APR flash and have noticed this phenomenon, I think its possibly due to you getting use to the tuned power, going back to stock for a bit and experiencing the lack of power, you soon realize the difference...

Its a bit placebo and can have varying factors, different fuels/tire pressures also affect the feel of the tune

May actually try it tomorrow morning, will post back with what i notice

It's the exact same file, so there is no different file for the trial - the trial just activates a timer

I had the trial on my MKV GTI done by Mike at Prestige and Performance (free plug) and only needed the drive home to decide to go with it.

I noticed no difference at all between the trial and the tune.

I believe this may be specific to the Polo 9N3.
I don't believe it to be about comparing to stock, but to do with the way the tune adapts to a vehicle. Turning off and back on resets the tune. You need to drive in the "original tune" for 50m to feel the stock acceleration to know you switched back.
As a vague explanation, I expect the timing is aggressive when implemented, but backs off when it adapts (working with the knock sensors)

It's a mind game and what you get used to.

I've turned it off now and then when I've let my wife or parents drive it and straight away I notice it when I get back in how it just feels wrong. Turn the tune back "on" and it's my car back again

The only time I've felt it to have lost performance is when giving it a bit of a run on hot days and the stock IC can't cope too well

It could be that Bakersdelight is just noticing heat effect as well.

I felt the same way when I purchased it. It's not so much an APR thing but just the car itself adapting to driving style, fuel age/potency perhaps, outside temperatures, and so on. If you drive the car hard in Sports mode for a bit you'll "wake it up". If you drive the car to warm it up, then turn it off and then start the car in 20 mins (after a brief stop somewhere) while the car is still warm I also find it a bit more spritely. I ultimately solved my issues though by fitting a SprintBooster adapter, everything feels more immediate, and how it feels to me is all that matters at the end of the day.

Can't also change the fact that the APR Stage 1 software alone drops my 0-100kph from 8.0 seconds to 6.5.
