That is a shame Pullstarter having to get rid of the cat-back so quickly Is that the final verdict from the Missus?

Can I ask why you are doing the Stage 2 tune a week or so after the turbo-back exhaust was installed? I thought you would have got it done the same time or is it optional and you can actually get away with the Stage 1 tune with the turbo-back exhaust?

Tis a shame but in the interest of a peaceful existence it has to happen

I had the exhaust installed at my local vw specialist but he doesn't do the ECU programming unfortunately so I have to go to another shop for that, no biggy

Anyone want a near new cat back? lol

doesnt the tuner do exhaust installs? that would have been the common sense approach. doesnt the guy that sells apr software also sell apr hardware and thus installs?

It would be common sense if the tuner had TIME to do the install as well as the tune but he's booked solid, THUS I had my local guy do the install.

I had apr dp and apr stage2 file stock catback.

Sound crap when cold but good when warm. Louder than stock still but quieter than with the apr catback

Thanks Romp. Yes it does sound a bit "farty" when cold doesn't it? It soon changes once warmed up though.
