Anyone had problems after a remap?

Oh really? Do you have any proof for that? The grass must be really green on your side of the fence to think you know best. Blaming the consumer for purchasing a service that ultimately destroyed your car engine. I would hope you never have to go through anything like I have over the last few months which, along with a stressful bereavement, made it a tough time!

I feel sorry for you that you had to go through that and money you had to spend to get your car back on the road but, if you want to continue in saying that the tune had destroyed your engine, show us some proof, otherwise stop with that because it's just misleading and wrong.

my legal advice of the Viezu UK policy is that ANYTHING that an independent report can attribute to the Viezu tune, is covered under their policy. Tranny inclusive. It just needs to be proven to be the cause, ie too much torque etc. Sure it can become a grey area, but at least Viezu is trying to address it as much as possible, and more so than nearly anyone else.

So the clunk that my car developed and which those incompetents at Barloworld Moorabbin VW said was the outer CV joint failing (a known weakness according to those clowns and would be best overcome with aftermarket BRASS CV joints) could have been claimed against Viezu for my tune?

Not that I'd think of blaming my tune for something like that - I wear my mistakes (unlike some)
