    2.0L 103/132 kW TDI Tunes? (New Transporter/Multivan/Caravelle)

Is there a tune for the new engines available as yet? Last time I looked a few months back there wasn't anything around, is anyone aware of that changing?

I have the dyno for the 132kw version from Oettinger, we will be releasing that in a couple of weeks.

The 103kw version will be released mid December if all goes to plan.

Is there anywhere accessible to get the ECU number or do I need to grab out the cable and read it?

I'm interested in Oettinger's warranty cover, although it's worth ~AU$9,000 max at the moment so you wouldn't need too much to go wrong before you exceed that amount, especially if it's something in the DSG. I'd hate to have a tuning company pointing at VW and VW pointing at a tuning company if the proverbial hit the fan. Not that I would expect any major issues, it's still nice to have something behind you.

I'd love to see a local dealer partner with a company to offer a "pre tuned" vehicle with local warranty support agreed between the two parties, even if it means servicing needs to be done at that particular dealership.

For me it will comes down to price vs performance vs risk.

Been 4 months worth of work on the 132kw engine from Oettinger, apparently there is a lot of new stuff to consider as this is a first time (new) engine from VW. They also run the 1024bit encrypted ECU too. Hope to have our first car done in the next couple of weeks.

Sounds good with the 132KW, so it should be pretty stable by April 2011.

Owning a 2 year old T5 with an Oettinger enhanced 128kw jobbie that I use for towing, i can't wait to try an enhanced version of the twin turbo.

The power bands are very different, mind you, that new DSG box is pretty awesome.

Any news as yet guys? I have a 4 motion 132 KW T5 and have just run her in, and I will be looking for some more juice in the very near future.

We have done quite a few. Certainly the LWB 2wd van is over 2 seconds quicker 0-100 & carries a full load much better.
