1.4 Twin charged high fuel consumption (10lt / 100km constant)

So I've been scouring the internet to try and see what's causing my high fuel consumption of 10lt per 100km constant average.

I'm currently running an APR Stage 2 tune, exhaust, intake, intercooler, R8 coil packs and BKR7EIX plugs in my Polo 6R. The high consumption began after fitting the R8 coil packs. So one would think they are the cause but I've not seen anything online to indicate this would be the cause, more so the opposite in fact.

Two other interesting things to note.

    1. The same day I fitted the coils my oil sensor started throwing fault codes (implausible signal) and the oil temp indicator on the dash is all over the place.
    2. The fuel consumption indicator is stuck at 10lt / 100km for the long average and 10-14ish on the short range. The long range doesn't change, not even 100ml. It's always 10lt and I get about 400km a tank.

I'll have the oil sensor replaced (the wiring has been checked and tested), but I was wondering if anyone has seen this behaviour at all?

I’ve got an APR Stage 2 118 TSI golf. After getting the turbo back exhaust and stage 2 file my fuel use increased around town to about 11-14 but that’s more and issue of me really working the 3,000-5,000 rpm range for fun.

First thing I would suggest if you haven’t done it already is clearing the error codes using ECMS (similar to map selection but the button above Set on the indicator stalk). One flash per second is clear codes. Two per second is throttle body alignment. Do both.

Next thing I would do is switch to stock mode and run the car around the block. Then switch back to 98 mode and see how you go.

The reason I suggest this is that’s how I clear a lot of the soft ecu error I get like mild boost limp (15PSI max). I think this map has some issues. I normally get about 450km per tank around town. Long distance highway range is closer to 850km.

let us know if it is the oil temp sensor that fixes it. I'm about to fit a baffled sump and delete this sensor on my 9N3 Gti so I'm super curious what kind of effect the oil temp sensor could have on the car.
No coolant temp or o2 sensor errors? What got moved to do the coils - If there's a mass of vacuum lines etc on the cam cover like on a stock 1.8T, is it possible that you,ve inadvertently caused a vacuum leak that would cause short and long term fuel trims to add fuel?
