Saw a few Wolfies out today when coming back from Mt Martha. Gotta say, black Prets look a lot better than silver..

Also, the Lapiz Blue wagons are absolutely stunning. Need to convince the wife we need something 'bigger'

I assume the black Pretoria’s are aftermarket sprayed? I did not have an option on my Wolf !

I'm assuming so. They definitely looked like Pretorias.

I really like the Blue/Black combo, I think Blue/Silver looks a bit meh personally.

cosanostre - there was no option per se, but some dealers were offering to spray wheels for customers on delivery IIRC.

Not a fan of black on Lapiz (worked well on the lighter Mk6 Rising B), but will consider black options on my Oryx. But won't touch the Pretorias, will go after-market.

Costly to get them as black Prets. Only inexpensive option is to be sprayed.

They were probably from the previous Wolfsburg edition R (Mk 7) - they came with black Pretorias standard. IIRC other countries get either silver, grey or black as an option for Pretorias (and many other options that VWOz refuse to allow us to order).

Also saw a vid from Canada that they get a choice of 30 colours for their Rs. Don’t understand the logic of VWOz.

^ Touched on this in the wheel thread - they can select 'premium' colors for $3k CAD I believe..
