Do Wolfsburg wheel caps and valve caps count ?

No ? Then how a bout a DTE PedalBox+ ? This greatly improved the doughy response to the first 2cm of throttle pedal movement and made my wagon feel a lot more responsive (but no actual increase in power or torque at full throttle).

Does the 7.5 sound any different to the 7? Louder more pops or more or less the same?

Hard to tell as I’ve gone from hatch to wagon. It’s definitely different. In the hatch, manual, I drove permanently in Sport with the exhaust flaps open. I spent a lot of time on the over run enjoying the deep chested pops from that car. This 7.5 Wagon doesn’t seem as deep chested but has a far better sound when accelerating - a more metallic zing - although you won’t hear it unless the windows are open and then when you get over about 80 kph the wind noise drowns it out. People on the street do hear it. When combined with the rifle cracks on DSG up changes it can attract disapproving attention. I’m thinking of cutting out the resonator.
    Looking for:- RS4 B7 Avant.
Current:- Amarok V6 Sportline; Mazda CX-9 Azami AWD
Previous - Mk 6 R manual; Mk 7 R manual; Passat 130 TDi Wagon. Mk 7.5 Wolfsburg Wagon.

Thanks for that. My dealer only had the 7 to test so when I do eventually collect should be a brand new experience!

For some reason I love the logical connection between these two points.

Currently tossing up between a Wolfsburg and an Alltrack with the three optional packages (weird I know). Performance and price aside, the main differences I see are:
    Wolfsburg
    No Park assist

    Alltrack
No blind spot monitor / rear traffic alert

Is there anything else that is a major difference?

I think the Wolfsburg also has the Adaptive Chassis Control as well.
Indium Grey Golf 7.5 Alltrack 135tdi Premium - all options
