I have just taken delivery of a white Wolf with sunroof. 9/10... the Silver Pretoria’s look average! That’s where it loses a point. Would love to get them sprayed gloss black like my previous Taledegas. Wouldn’t know where to start. Any ideas on where?

I'll have to agree - the Pretorias are still the best wheel VW has done, and in silver are perfect on black or blue (or all the wonderful overseas colors), but do look a bit weak against the white.

Take it to a reputable wheel shop in your area and spend the dollars to get it done right first time.

I would have said $150-250 per wheel sounds right for a good job.

I got my sprayed at a wheels and calipers paint specialist, they take the tires off the rims, spray and wheel alignment. $700 for all 4, it all depends where you are this was done in Melbourne.

You get yours faster than mine, did yours come through Port Kembla? I pick it up on Thursday.

Can someone point me to the thread or advise on best way to run the car in?

Yeah mine came through Port Kembla and docked on the 19th of Jan. Arrived at the dealership sooner than expected. Not long now! 24 hours!

Fingers crossed mate, I'm pretty sure I hadn't even really thought about even buying a Golf again when you placed your order.

In the vein of a thread over in general some time ago, I had to chuckle (after confirming no door knocks) that this driver had an almost empty car park to choose from last night but elected to park up against me. Clearly the young lass was taken aback by the big bad wolf..

I always have the same problem even when I had the Yeti - park away from other cars and, sure enough, when I come back there will be at least one car next to me despite the car park being near empty.

Although not a particular fan of the movie I see nothing wrong with baseball quotes in general.

Annoying unless it's another similar and/or modified vehicle, then I can appreciate they've searched me out via safety in numbers.
