    Wipers gone Wonky

    hi all,

So i just picked up my Mk 7.5 Wolfsburg R and drove for the first time in the rain last night and the wipers seem to be up the pooper.

The passenger side wiper works fine, but the driver side seems to be out of sync and at times the passenger wiper runs over the driver side wiper.....

    Thoughts....

Just drive it in, tell them you want it fixed on the spot.

Yep, its a problem for the dealer that sold you the car - "not fit for purpose". Hopefully it is just a loose nut or something similar.

Do you know if the previous owner has removed the (annoying to most people) soundaktor ? IIRC you need to remove the wipers to get at it and they might not have tightened everything up properly when putting it back together.

Strange the dealer did not pick up the issue when performing their comprehensive inspection of the vehicle when preparing it for sale....

Took it to the dealer yesterday...fixed on the spot...turns out it was just a bolt that was loose.
