VWR lowering spring shifting under full strut extension

    Hey,

Anyone had any problems with VWR or Eibach springs having some play at full front strut extension? With some light force i can basically move the spring around on the strut when the car is up on jacks or a lift. This is having a knock on effect of them shifting when driving when going up into a drive way, over a speed bump, or turning the wheels to full lock.

It certainly isn't doing the bearings and strut tops and favours.

I'm thinking of replacing the bearings and stretch bolts however if these things are going to continue to slip around under load I'm not certain I want to leave them in there.

    Struts are too long.

it’s often a requirement to fit shorter struts (less travel) when fitting shorter springs to prevent just this situation.

Edit: loose springs (on full suspension droop) is also a roadworthy issue
