VW has updated their Australian website with the MY16 details, but still not able to do a configuration.

The configuration works now.

That link has been there for quite some time (at least since before May of this year).

I changed-over from an MY15 to MY16 today.

Knew it was going to cost me (although less than expected, & bonus black/white slimlines due to dealer error helped), but after what I've seen with the new Infotainment system & Bi-Xenons & Keyless entry, I'm not feeling any kind of regret.

I now have the car I wanted all along.

How much should I expect to negotiate for drive away price for MY16 GTI DSG, without any additional features other than the included MY16 goodies?

I negotiated to pay $48300 for MY16 GTi PP with Black Pearl, due to arrive mid October. Hope its worth the wait!

Ive ordered my MY16 PP with all up cost of $49300 (with Pearlescent paint, mats and Smartkote). Delivery October. Seems like a good price

Gotto say, my order of preference of the MY16 changes to the GTI was MIB II (App Connect) & then daylight before the Bi-Xenons, & finally Keyless Entry.

After making use of them for a couple of weeks, MIB II is still #1, but I now appreciate Keyless Entry much more & am loving the brighter Bi-Xenons.

Trifecta of very handy features I now can't do without from here on in..
