I'm quite a newbie to this forum, but used it a lot recently.
Basically it helped me a lot with some troubles I have / had with my new e-Golf.

Situation
Three months ago I have bought an e-Golf (2015, SEL Premium) from the US and got it shipped to the EU. Basically the main issues with this car in the EU are the following three things:
1. Rear light behaviour;
2. Charge socket;
3. Navigation system.


My current issue
In order to get the EU approval on this car, receive a licence plate and kind of make it driveable, I need to fix problem number 1, being the rear light behaviour.
Before making this topic I'm currently searching for weeks on this forum, the ross tech forum, VWvortex forum and the Golf MK7 forum. I came up with the following relevant results:

VCDS (VAG-COM) codes and programmable options for Golf Mk7
So I actually thought I could make it work, however it doesn't seem that easy.


What I did
1. Ofcourse searched on the forum;
2. Bought a new set of rear lights but the EU version;
3. Bought a new light switch (EU model);
4. Changed 1 pin of the connection plug of the outer rear lights;
5. Borrowed a VCDS cable;
6. Started to (re)code the rearlights based on the table included in this topic: http://forums.ross-tech.com/showthre...afety-feature;
7. Measured the connecters to the lights.
So after changing all NAR settings to the RoW settings, it still did not work properly as an EU model.

Current situation (focussing on the left side of the car)
1. Signal lights / Blinkers are orange / amber blinking, but only working properly when not using the brakes;
2. Signal lights / Blinkers are illuminating constant when appliying the brakes...
3. Rear fog light not working.
After measuring the connector (outer light) which is have three cables, being 1. Ground, 2. lights on/off 3.Blinker signal and Brake signal.
I suppose the brake signal should be excluded...

In order to clearify this, I have made some pictures and created a channel map of the controller (09-Central Electrics).

Please note I just have normal taillights, so no LED lights or something.
