    mpierce: I'm not going to get into the Legal/moral arguments about VIM (although I agree with what others have posted).

    To enable this facility with VCP, you need to have purchased the ZDC VIM file option. If you haven't done this, the option can be remotely installed from VAG TECH (I suggest that you purchase directly from the VAG TECH - the help facility on the website is excellent - quick response and far more knowledgeable than elsewhere. It's 103 Euros - $160 AUD + the PAYPAL fee.

    The video below describes how to do the tweak (alas it's in Russian, but it's understandable)
