By the blinker cycles do you mean the lane change thing? If so have you tried turning it off completely in the car menu and holding the indicator half way whilst you change lanes?
Sorry if this is not what you're talking about.
So went to town on the G7R and found the following;
Changing "Blinker" Cycles- VCDS Tweak
No luck, followed to the letter after setting anything from 1 to 5 the blinker simply does 3 cycles.
Anyone have any tips on this?
To Mute Soundakator
Flawless, instant difference and definitely confirms the need for an aftermarket exhaust on the R.
Automatic Rain Closing
Set but untested.
Enable Traffic Information (TMC) on Mk7 Golf - VCDS tweak
Perfect.
Restore fan speed indicator in "Auto" mode
Perfect.
8. Beep when unlock/lock.(if you have alarm fitted)
Didn't work until doing this setting also;
(7)-Acknowledgement Signals -Menuesteuerung akustische Rueckmeldung (Acoustic lock menu)
This enables a menu setting in the "car" settings, "Locking" menu of the infotainment screen to set alarm chirp on or off when locking /unlocking the car and have the option to switch it on or off from the head unit.

Janos: as I said in my tweak instructions, exactly the same thing happened to me. I found that I had to re-set the BCM control module to factory settings before the change would be accepted. I describe how to do this in the latter part of my post.
Please don't take this the wrong way but are you absolutely sure that you have changed the correct adaptation channel? Just as a confirmation that you have followed the instructions correctly (again, I don't mean to imply that you haven't), you could check the Codinglog.txt file. If you aren't aware of how to use this file, I posted a short paper on the topic in my Mk7 VCDS Tweak - Reference thread under Reference Resouces, How To Guide.
Failing this, you could post-up, or send me a copy of the auto-scan report for your car (an adpmap for address-09 would be even better, if you have made one), so i can see what type of BCM is in your car.

Please don't PM to ask questions about coding, or vehicle repairs. The better place to deal with these matters is on-line, in the forum proper. That way you get the benefit of the expertise of the wider forum! Thank you.
Assuming Janos == jonoz?
So you mean to run this bit?as I said in my tweak instructions, exactly the same thing happened to me. I found that I had to re-set the BCM control module to factory settings before the change would be accepted. I describe how to do this in the latter part of my post.
Haha not at all mate, I work in IT and this is completely new to me to understand that the first place to generally assume is user error After reading through VWVortex I realised I should have been using the beta of VCDS for Mk7 changes so have upgraded to this and will perform the rest and reprogram the blink cycles.Please don't take this the wrong way but are you absolutely sure that you have changed the correct adaptation channel? Really appreciate the offer for assistance mate, will see how I go after giving the ol' girl a clean.Failing this, you could post-up, or send me a copy of the auto-scan report for your car (an adpmap for address-09 would be even better, if you have made one), so i can see what type of BCM is in your car.
Doing a factory reset on the lighting setting fixed up the custom cycle count.

Hey guys,
can anyone tell/show me how to disable the Brake Pad sensor on the golf r mk7? I am looking at installing a BBK and the pads don't have a sensor.
Thanks for your help in advance.
