Hi Don and thank you for your kind Norwegian welcome to me I was very happy when I saw it was you who answered my request to the forum because I have seen so many good and well documented answers and advices from you.

I agree about your assessment regarding decoding code string in VCDS and I will order the OBD11 asap and follow your suggestion.
I also tried your alternative suggestion today: dimming level "0" for brake light in the leuchte set for blinkers and that almost solved my case, but still there is a little short flash in the blinker (0,3 sec) so I will go for your OBD11 advice and report result back to you.
    Thank's again.

jisses: Hej och välkommen till forumet

Some VW models do have a Leuchte-set for the two blinker repeater LEDs on the side mirrors ( i.e. the new Polo 6C). However, the mk7 does not - alas.

If you look at the wiring diagram for the mk7, you will find that the repeater LEDs are connected directly to the door control modules - there is no physical connection from the LEDs back to the BCM.

Since Leuchte channels ALWAYS reference a pin number on the BCM, it's not possible to have such channels for the repeater LEDs (because they are not connected to the BCM). What I think happens is that the turn signal information (which originates in the steering column control module) is sent to the door control modules and therefore to the repeater LEDs via the convenience CAN bus.

jisses:my apology - I'm not making my point clear enough. No, there are no Leuchte channels in the door control modules (leuchte channels only appear in the BCM). So, no you can't modify these LEDs. Why do you want to modify these LEDs?

?? -...... I don't understand!! Currently the mirror LEDs flash the same (in unison) with the front/rear blinkers. What do you want them to do?

Parking lights in the US include the front indicator globe.
Pay close attention when you watch Top Gear USA.

Mysticality: Thanks for the response - I kind-of knew this, but as I understand, the mirror repeater LEDs don't light-up as parkers in US mk7s. I could be wrong, but I believe that the sole function of mirror repeater LEDs on NAR models is to behave as turn-signals.

But if OP wants the mirror LEDs to function as parking lights as well as turn-signal, then this is a unique combination (in the world - I think) and I'm fairly certain that it's not possible - more than happy for someone to tell me otherwise and to explain how it's done!

This is also my belief - however I know the Jeep Wrangler's side indicators do light up as parking lights.
Whether any other USDM vehicle does; I have no idea.

Hello to all the forum, wonder if here in your community there is a detailed guide (video tutorial) maybe postandomi the link on how to install lights and wipers on Golf MK7 where I can figure out where to put the famous wire 9 from the handle to the control unit BCM / C.

In my Golf it is already the rain / light / humidity sensor - 8U0 955 559 B.

I apologize if I'm wrong "section" but also from Italy using google translator I could not have found anything.

Here I found this link in Italian:
