might try this on my Suberb, although it won't b much good given the engine start-stop button in the on the steering wheel column itself.

nonetheless, give it a crack i shall
success - its subtle, but a nice touch.

ok to me he’s got a low line camera in his car, you gave him options for high line which is kept in the module of the camera (you can change the speed in that module), low line is just basic 12V camera open, 0V camera closed, so although a high line you can use the low line option, the high line you can’t, I can be totally wrong tho

2 and 4 are the brake lights on my uk car which is 20/21 BR LA71/RC8
3 is empty and when I looked there was no wire down the right side or LED’s in the cluster (ok it was a few years back so my fog could be on the right not left)

^^^ Assuming that you use VCDS (not difficult to translate to OBD11 speak), try this:

    1. Go to the hex09 module (BCM)
    2. Enter the magic number 31347 as the security code
    3. Go to Adaptation
    4. Navigate to the channels below and change as appropriate:

    Key-fob operation
    ENG141681-ENG116652-ZV Komfort-Funk Komfort oeffnen > active
    ENG141681-ENG116651-ZV Komfort-Funk Komfort schliessen > active

    Sun-roof operation

    ENG141632-ENG116647-Sunroof-SAD Komfort oeffnen > active
    ENG141632-ENG116646-Sunroof-SAD Komfort schliessen > active

    Kessy operation

IDE11944-ENG116654-Keyless access and start authorization-Kessy Komfort schliessen > active

Enable comfort open/close facility in MENU in the MFD (so you can turn the feature on or off):

I have recently purchased a OBDEleven and one of the tweaks I made was the Battery state of charge. I have noticed that whenever I check it , it always shows that the SOC as 0% . Does that mean that my battery is nearly dead or that the 0% reading is inaccurate?

Are you holding the button down on the key fob? I'm not sure you can just click it.

Unless you battery has a module attached to it you cant get that to work.

What vehicle is it and look to see where the earth point is on the vehicle If its just a bolt on the firewall as in a Tiguan forget it Have tried several times and hardware is just not there

^ ^^^ this is a pic of the Battery monitor module (J367) that is connected to the negative terminal that Hillbilly refers-to (I think). J367 is basically a coil of wire with a few electronic components embedded in a resin housing - it's roll is to measure every ampere of electrical current that flows out-of and into the battery. Without a J367 module SOC can't be calculated. J367 will be installed if your car has start-stop.

    Don

ignore thw yellow gunk - it's an anti-frosting agent that the dealer sprayed onto the negative terminal
