yeah the internal styling of the volvo there is a bit sus if ask me. talking about styling the hyundia veloster turbo appears to be also golf gti territory with 155kw turbo 1.6. but over styled to the max. cheap though by comparison and something will check out anyways for a bit of fun hehe

I'm holding out for the new Pulsar SSS. But then again I'm sort biased towards Nissan's as my old man works for them. I can't give too many details away but it will be a strong competitor for the MKVII Golf (with both Power and weight). Interesting to see price point for all the hot hatches when they hit our streets.

The Pulsar brand still lives? Wow. My cousin works for Nissan and my family get a special lease deal on previous models so we've had a few different ones in our driveway. They're not bad cars but don't feel as special as the VW, especially when comparing interiors.

I had a 2000 Pulsar SSS. Excellent car. It'll need to be a gigantic leap over the Tiida in every area to be considered comeptitive against the Golf, though.

    Wow! This should be interesting..

I had an N15 SSS.. One of the best cars I ever owned, it was solid and great to drive.. They really should have kept the hot hatch/SSS going.. There is a market..

NFI why Nissan went with the Tiida badge..

Absolutely agree! The worst thing Nissan ever did was ditch the hot hatch and brand the abomination that is the Tiida. It was marketing move to boost sales to the "female drivers". But comparing build qualities, as far as Nissan has progressed, don't think they will match VW. We will have to wait and see...

Found a car that really brings my attention, Peugeot RCZ THP200. Very nice indeed, although a little more pricey than a GTI. I suppose the Alfa Romeo Giulietta QV or just the normal sport would be a good contender, perhaps even (dare I say it) the Volvo C30 with it's T5 engine.

Have you seen the new 135i?

I've seen better looking things in the change rooms of a plus size clothing store
