I have noticed the Comfortline doesn't get one. The Highline has one. Is this due to the Sat Nav?

vw either have them on the roof. .rear glass..or side rear glass and commercials like caddy and T5 have them in the front screen...if your nav is coming from factory order then yes fin on roof...if the dealer is fitting it as a accessorie when it arrives then no...dealer fit the aerial gets located behind the dash panel....VDUB...

Yeah it's factory. Dealer told me it was no longer possible for them to do the fits. No idea why.

yes thats true if you are getting a mk7... its a whole new ball game... your head unit is just a screen and your nav / radio hardware is in the glovebox...
