Picked up my 7.5 GTI a week ago. One thing has been bothering me (other than a rattle I have at low rpm).

Does anyone find that the socket (part with the orange button you plug the buckle in) is quite high and far forward compared to other cars? This means the belt is floating off my left hip.
Placing my hands at 9 and 3 my left elbow will come in contact with the seat belt when I turn left.

I don't recall noticing this when I test drove the car but I didn't spend long adjusting the seat and was focusing on the rest of the experience.

Anyone have any tips for seat adjustments to aliviate this? I'm tried messing around with it but I can't seem to find the best position.
