Hello,
I'm doing some research to see if I can retrofit the VW Emblem Reverse Camera to my Golf that has the Composition Media fitted.
I know it's not direct fit to the Composition Media unit so will be looking to modify the kit wiring and use an after market interface to plug into the infotainment box.
Does anyone know if the VW retro fit camera kit produces the parking guidelines on the screen or if the guidelines are produced by the Composition Media /infotainment unit. ie Hardware or software generated lines?
Also trying to source the wiring diagram for the Golf 7 which shows the reverse camera connections - anybody know where I can source one?

If it's anything like the MkVI the lowline kit doesn't do the lines, the highline kit (which has an extra box) can do the lines *if* the steering wheel has the needed bits.
