Rattling Noise Behind Dash/Air Vent at Around 5th or 6th Gear

I'm driving a MY2018 Golf 110TSI. I noticed this rattling noise behind dash/air vent at around 5th or 6th gear probably a year ago (Year 3 of ownership, circa 2021). It doesn't sound like a mechanical rattling noise. Noises happens noramally when gear entering 5th / 6th at around 1300 - 1400 rpm. It might be some loose plastic parts behind the dashboard/air vent. And goes away as speed goes higher.

Anyone happens to have same issue and/or know the possible fix to it?

    Hi.
It happened to me and still happening on my 2019 MK7.5 Golf R.
But it happens very very very randomly at slow cruising speed.
I took it into service but they couldn't replicate the same issue.
What I did to get over this frustration, I just use paddle shifter to go into manual for monumentally and back out.

I know it's not a fix but rattling seem to go away...

Im wondering if you are hearing wastegate rattle on your turbo? Its quite common on the 1.4L turbo engines and can be heard at low rpm.

Perhaps contact user Valvster and speak to him: 2014 90TSI 1.4L Mk7 Golf Wastgate Rattle 1300 RPM 6th gear

Otherwise, if you are certain its from inside the cabin, your air vents are held in with 4 metal clips and its possible (if these air vents have ever been removed before) that one of the metal clips has come off and is rattling around.
