Yes a good explantion I knew that stuff was missing in Aus maps but you explain it better than I could \ ANd yes we are chasing something that isnt there and Im pretty sure it wont see "No overtaking" signs either.
Why Well coming into our village we have a standard roadsign with 10 on it It never notices it because it wont be in the maps but there must be some speed signs in them otherwise they wouldnt change at places where there have been previously but not any longer.

Must be different on the Skoda then as that hasnt appeared in my Tiguan but then I dont have it in the centre of the AID and my aid has all the other stuff in totally different places.
Will try it but dont know where to find a no overtaking sign anywhere near my home.
Am confused as you show a Skoda but this is the Golf Forum??????
We are all mixed up

Is it possible for you to share your coding? Just trying to understand what could be different in the Golf! How does TSR work in your case, in roads where there are no signs, does it take from the maps?
VW, Audi & Skoda use same set of engines/transmissions and control modules, the variants change depending on the model, so its okay to have a Skoda owner share his input.
nothing to b mixed up or confused about.
as nibose already mentioned - we all share the same internal organs, we just have different shells & body panels on the outside.
yes, on some occassions, there might b slight differences between the control modules, but vw and skoda r essentially the same. audi have variations given they sit on a different platform.
this is the A5 Front Sensor (Camera) version fitted in my Skoda:
Address A5: Frt Sens. Drv. Assist (R242) Labels: 3Q0-980-65X-A5.clb
Part No SW: 3Q0 980 654 G HW: 3Q0 980 654
Component: MQB_B_MFK H06 0231
mine is set to "road sign detection". if there r no road signs picked up, nothing is shown in the cluster/nagivation.
before i had TSR enabled, it would display the speed signs based on map data.
with TSR enabled, fusion mode shows nothing for me. road sign detection works, albeit in "restricted mode".
i haven't tried the horizon one.
below is the coding i used.

Yeah same for me fusion doesnt work but am trying to enable it in module 13 ACC but cant find the right access code as the one given doesnt work 14117 wont work.
The OBDII guys reckon it wont do anything so will see if i can ever get into it
There is as well subtle differences between vehicles despite all being on the same platform.
Some things work on some and not on others or are enabled in different modules so not an exact science is it
Other things are enabled in one model but not another
EG DLA is standard on a Highline Allspace but not on a shorty same s**t just a different bucket

A clumsy question: Suppose you're driving along a road and there's a school zone (40pkh), the TSR display this new limit. You make a left immediately before the school zone is over. The new road has a different limit, assuming there are no signs present, does the cluster display an over speed error? or does it display a new speed sign based on the map data?
