Thank mate but what does OP mean??? the car has only doe 60,000 kms and it has been religiously serviced by the dealer and only ever run on 98 fuel as per the manufacturers specs. My wife wouldn't even let me change the indicator bulbs for crisp sake!!!

Did you contact VW AU Customer care, yet? It's your best first step when you're dealing with difficult dealerships.

i have a 90 tsi 2014 golf dsg comfortline i run mostly 94 e10 from 7 11 or united local independent servo .i have done 120000 no issues it still get me 800 km a tank and now im off warranty im doing my own oil changes . only thing thats stuffed up on car has been one wiper jet washer was clogged easy fixed by dealer under warranty . my tyres and getting down but after 120000km thats expected i must have got a good car . no issues as yet
