Photo request of rear-most front windscreen trim

Could someone please do me a favour and post a photo of a Mk 7 Golf R front windscreen in situ? I need a close up of the trim at the top of the windscreen. I recently had the windscreen replaced after a rock got me and they haven’t replaced the trim. Can’t be good for weather sealing or wind noise/resistance. I will be asking them to remedy this and hopefully your photo will help explain.

Are you sure there is supposed to be one? I’ve had my screen replaced (18 months ago) and I don’t have a trim piece there. My car has been into the dealer about 4 times since the screen was replaced and no-one has ever mentioned it.

Not on any 7.5 I've seen. My Alltrack is exactly the same as the other shots posted here.

Cool. I think what it was is there was a non-genuine windscreen in before which had a gasket. It was replaced with genuine glass after the mirror fell off and they’ve returned it to normal which I wasn’t used to!

My 7.5 (MY 18 ) R Wolfsburg wagon (built June 2017) doesn't have (and has never had) any trim between the top of the windscreen and the roof. There is a small gap around the thickness of a $1 or $2 coin.

Ditto for me, and a quick check of the UK and US forums indicate same.
