That's the one - looks better than on the Tig.

I don't recall the specs for those wheels, I'd be guessing they would not be (strictly speaking) a legal fitment without some adjustments.

I had to have another look at those. At first I thought they were just the stock but then I realised they were the Interlagos from the Passat CC...not too shabby at all

I'm not generally a fan of the wheels, but on the right CC they work, and agreed they don't look to bad on that Alltrack either.

In the absence of lowering anything bigger is going to look odd on an Alltrack, I'd be going for something on a smaller size generally. And yes I acknowledge lowering an Alltrack makes absolutely no sense at all, although they do look aggressive courtesy of the mouldings.

Thanks guys. My partner has the Tig with these and it has a nice presence about it. I thought they would look awesome on my Golf. Might sneak out in the night and swap them over

<smirk> I like your thought process - the Tig2 wheel thread might have some ideas on what could go on as replacements.

I don't hate the Suzukas, and in fact I note you partner's is Ruby and one of those is parked a few spots away from me in the basement here and it looks pretty smart. I think the style and finish works better on strong and/or dark colors like Ruby, or black.

It's just a bit generic that's all - it's not far removed from what every other SUV has fitted these days. On the Golf it suddenly pops again because you don't expect to see it there.

If I ended up with a white Tig then I'd be wanting a change.

Specs on the Suzuka are 20x8.5 ET38 so you'll have to run something like 235/30R20 to fit to a Golf. It'll poke around 18-25mm more than stock (depending on what stock rim you're running) so get ready with your guard rollers - particularly if you're lowered.
