Given that attitude I'm guessing you also think it is totally unfair when the police book you for doing something illegal/unsafe

Rules are rules, if you break them then you should be prepared to live with the consequences. If you make mechanical mods to your car and then don't be surprised if the manufacturer decides to deny warranty coverage when something related to the mod breaks. "You have to pay to play"

That was a long bow to draw from a factual statement.

I am all for police booking people doing something illegal and/or unsafe, it is not always their fault they have to enforce rules they disagree with. As for modding cars - I've always been one of the strongest advocates of paying to play.

So no disagreements there?
