Not strictly wheel related, but a few other items on my journey.

    Going for the Ferrari look?

Actually I'm not sure I feel that much different towards this one then most Mk7 'spoiler' additions on the hatch.

I'm certain even Adam will agree.
I concur. Tidy, Dutch, very tidy. I'd also request an extra 20mm or so on the ride height; at least with a wagon you can always self-lower by throwing a set of track wheels in the back.

Definitely one of the better Rotiform styles IMO.

My few notches is your 20mm.

    I cannot disagree.

Also agreed, although I am very partial to the RSE that is now popping up everywhere (and I suspect will continue to do so), and I have a soft spot for the BLQ. Gold on black..

Do these have a name other than 'RS4 wheels'?

I love the look of them, but at 19x9 with an offset of 29 they're not ideal.

I can find reps in 19x8.5 45, but are there any other VAG models these came on other than the RS4 that could have better fitment for a MK7? Alternatively, is there a brand of reps that's better than the others?

Yeah that is the true RS4 fitment.. I think they may have come in a much more conservative fitment (with style tweaks) on other lower A4 models at times, but trying to chase down anything OEM is going to be a long search potentially.

I'd be looking at VMR 708 wheels - as far as reps go they're solid (thus the higher price than the cheap rubbish the online mobs sell.. run like hell).

Edit - I believe they were also on the TTRS at a time when they carried the ET52 offset - maybe that might be an option, but again very rare:

Thanks. I'd noticed the VMR's but didn't know much about them. I haven't found any with the right fitment in Australia, but I assume they'd be easy enough to order in.

What centre bore should I be looking for?

Every second Mk6 GTI ran a set of black V703s at one point I think - only reason they've faded from view a little is that there are more mid-priced options now.

I'd just get in touch with the local distributors and check sizing availability, 57.1 for the Golfs - but hub-centric rings will help cover off the 66.6 and other sizings around.
