At least they give you flexibility there if you do want to push the smaller wheels out.

I don't mind the LMs in black, that wasn't an option when I bought my graphite set for the Mk6 and I prefer the sunken centre over the look of the GTs. Maybe I've just seen a lot of AMGs wearing similar wheels but at least with the extra spokes the wheel doesn't get lost like most black finishes. Having said that I wouldn't hesitate in going the graphite again and may do so again one day.

Not sure on the weight, I'm fairly sure the 18s were around the 22.6lbs mark, so 19s at 25lbs would sound right. Certainly not a light wheel but probably one of the strongest out there.

Keep us updated on the purchasing process..

I initially preferred the smooth, gradual centre of the GT but the LM grew on me quickly. Now I go through phases between them, but generally I think the GT works better for mk5/6 due the curvier body and lines, whilst the LM is better on the mk4 (think R32) and the lines of the mk7. A solid wheel nonetheless, and very versatile seeing as it looks good on many different cars across generations. Still prefer it in anything but black - it's too pretty to be hidden away!

will do,here's the deal,I can get the lm's at £1200 instead of the £1540 retail price here in the uk,though the leggera's are £1650 and although I do love the look of the leggera's I still find myself drawn to the lm's in graphite(which I had on my previous car) the only thing that concerns me is the offset of 44 but I still think they are going to look sweet,I know also with our crappy uk roads they are not going to bend and 25lbs is equal to the supposedly lightweight prorace 1.3 and various other"lightweight" wheels.

Get them! Avdo was running ET44 and reported to major issues, these are x 8.5?

Seems like reasonable pricing to, although I've noticed the OZs sell at a premium to the BBS wheels generally whereas over here the opposite is true.

    here's my current setup Volk ZE40 in 19x8.5 +44

Silver Alcons match the silver lip by avdo_, on Flickr
One clean VAG by avdo_, on Flickr

No issues at all with that width and offset, front does have about 5mm poke but that will be fixed once SuperPro or Harding Performance releases the Lower Control Arms and that will give me a bit more negative camber.

Back wheels could have even lower offset as theres plenty of space.

Dutch, here are your own wheels, now 19", after a digital install on Josh's beautiful R... This is one of the few combinations I'm considering and thought I'd just share the eye candy. Apologies for the red brakes...
