Not feeling this design or finish on the Mk7 but someone might. Unsure on the specs on this wheel as they're not 19s but according to Dotz the best Golf fitment is only as a 19x8 ET45, so assuming perhaps a 5/120 to 5/112 adapter used for a 18x8 ET45 wheel. These wheels are available in a polished silver finish, as well as the red face shown here and a Kermit the Frog green finish and are around $1,600 a set ex UK before freight, duties and taxes. If this car looks familiar it's the same guy as the previous post. The specs are per the owner although they're listed as 19 x 8.5 ET32 elsewhere. Either way we are talking plenty of poke here and will need work to fit legally locally. Otherwise a pretty good looking wheel and suits the Mk7.

I have the SANTIAGO fited as standard on the GTI performance and realy like the PRETORIA but even with a nano Kote in the rims the disk material is hard to clean off. I have light coloured rims on my STI and had them treated with a nano-Kote when new and they are easer to clean than without the coating but they still eventualy get dirty and need a good scrub and recoating is not as efective when they are not new. so the darker rims inside at least look better and are easere to clean.

I had Opticoat on my Mk6 Detroits and that combined with the black accents made them the easiest wheels to keep looking clean I think I've ever owned. The Mk7 Austins wouldn't be dissimilar although I never got to wash them - the OZs made it on first.

The wheels fitted are actually ET40 up front (ET45 with 5mm spacer) and ET32 up back and therefore would not be legal fitment in Australia, but these wheels do come in standard ET45 fitment which will be ok. Note that in the third picture the car is fitted with H&R Street Performance coil overs. Hartmann wheels are generally replica designs with suitable VAG fitment and are made in Germany. These particular wheels sell for just over $1,100 in the USA but would require a USA credit card and billing address to acquire.

I've noticed a few of the Euro show cars have had that treatment, as well as those that have added twin central mounted pipes out the back as well. Makes you realise what the R should have been cosmetically - really needs something like the Oettinger kit to finish it off (minus the hatch wing).
